Genie Trades

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 29, 2026. Version 1.7.

Genie Trades is a trade name of CryptoGenie LLC, a Wyoming company.

This policy explains what personal information CryptoGenie LLC, doing business as Genie Trades ("we", "us"), collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our memberships, our Discord server, our email newsletter, our Whop page and our website, genietrades.com.

1. What we collect

When you buy a membership (through Whop):

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your Discord username and user ID, once you link Discord.
  • The plan you chose, and your payment history (amounts, dates, renewals, refunds and failed payments).

Your card details are handled by Whop and its payment partners. We never see your full card number.

When you buy a Bot Build:

  • Your name and email address, and your payment history, as for a membership.
  • Your answers on our intake form: your account type (cash or margin), your margin status, your options trading level, the market data you subscribe to, and the version of Windows on your computer.
  • Your trading rules, which you write for us in the Rules Spec, and the tickers, times and sizes in it.
  • Files and logs from your install that you choose to send us, including a "support bundle" that has your account numbers and keys removed before it is made.
  • What you say and show during a screen share. We do not record screen shares unless you agree in writing.
  • When the Engine checks your license: your license key, a one-way scrambled version of your machine ID, the Engine's version number and your IP address.
  • If you use your own Massive data key, it stays on your computer. We never ask for it and never store it.

In our Discord server:

  • Your Discord username, user ID, server role and the date you joined.
  • The messages and reactions you post in the server. Other members can see these too.

From our email newsletter (sent with MailerLite):

  • Your email address.
  • Whether you open our emails and click their links. MailerLite measures this.

When you contact us: what you send us, and your email address or Discord name.

On X: we don't collect anything from X beyond what anyone can see publicly.

What we don't collect: we never ask for your brokerage login, password, security codes or account number, your Social Security number or your card number. We do not ask for your positions or trades. A screen share may show some of them by accident, and we do not keep them. Please don't send us any of these.

2. How we use it

  • To give you access, and to remove it when a membership ends.
  • To handle billing questions, cancellations and refunds.
  • To send our newsletter, if you signed up for it.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To enforce our terms, for example to find out who leaked paid content.
  • To build, install, test and support your Bot, and to check your Engine license.
  • To keep tax and accounting records, and to meet other legal duties.

We don't use your information to make automated decisions about you.

3. AI

Some of our posts are written in part by an AI model, working only from market data. We never send your personal information to the AI.

Some of our code-writing tools use AI. When we build a Bot, your Rules Spec text may be processed by such a tool. We never put your brokerage login, account number or security codes into any AI tool, because we never have them.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that run parts of the service for us: Whop (payments, memberships, affiliate tracking), Discord (the community), MailerLite (email), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Google (analytics). Each one handles your information under its own privacy policy.
  • Bot Build providers: the company that provides our screen-share tool, while you are on a call with us; Cloudflare, which hosts our license server and sees your IP address and the license check; and our AI coding tools, as described in section 3, for the text of your Rules Spec only.
  • Advertising platforms, X and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the pixels described in section 5.
  • Professional advisers, such as our lawyer or accountant, when they need it.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
  • A buyer, if the business is sold or reorganized. They must follow this policy.

We never sell or rent your personal information. The X and Meta pixels in section 5 send details of your visits to our website and checkout to X and Meta, who use them to measure our ads and to show ads to you and to people like you. Some state privacy laws call this "sharing" for targeted advertising. Section 5 explains how to opt out.

5. Cookies and tracking

We run our own website, genietrades.com. It is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Whop's checkout and pages use cookies under Whop's privacy policy. We use these measuring and advertising tools:

  • Whop Pixel on genietrades.com. A script from Whop records which pages you visit on our website, and which page or link led you to a purchase. To recognize your browser on later visits, it saves an ID in a cookie and in your browser's storage, and uses details about your browser and device. Whop handles this information under its own privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics on genietrades.com and on our Whop checkout and pages. It counts visits, button clicks, checkout starts and purchases. Google sets cookies in your browser to do this. We don't turn on Google's advertising features. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

  • X pixel on genietrades.com and our Whop checkout. On our website it tells X which pages you visit. On the checkout it tells X when you start a checkout, add a payment method or buy. With each of these it sends details about your browser and device, your IP address and any cookies X has set, and Whop may add a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address so X can match the visit to an X account. X uses this to measure our ads, to build ad audiences, and to show ads to you on X. X handles this information under its own privacy policy.

  • Meta Pixel on genietrades.com and our Whop checkout. It works the same way for Meta: it tells Meta which pages you visit on our website, and when you start a checkout, add a payment method or buy, with the same kinds of details, and Meta uses them to measure our ads, build ad audiences and show you ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy.

Opting out of ads based on your visits. You can turn this off in your own ad settings: on X, under Settings > Privacy and safety > Ads preferences (https://x.com/settings/ads_preferences), and on Meta, under Accounts Center > Ad preferences (https://accountscenter.facebook.com/ad_preferences). Blocking third-party cookies in your browser also limits these pixels. You can also email us at [email protected] to opt out of this sharing. We'll keep you out of any ad audiences we build from our own member list and tell you what else we can do.

Our email signup box. The signup box for our free weekly plan email on genietrades.com is loaded from MailerLite. When the page opens, your browser connects to MailerLite, which receives your IP address and browser details and may set a cookie. If you sign up, MailerLite receives your email address and the time you signed up, and keeps them on our email list. MailerLite is based in Lithuania and processes this information in the European Union and, through its own service providers, in other countries including the United States. We use the list only to send you the weekly plan email. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to [email protected], and MailerLite then stops sending to you. MailerLite handles this under its own privacy policy.

6. How long we keep it

  • Membership and contact details: while you're a member, and up to 2 years after, in case of billing questions or disputes.
  • Bot Build Rules Spec, intake answers and build files: for as long as you hold the Engine license, and up to 2 years after, for support and disputes. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Bot Build support bundles and logs: 90 days after we close the case.
  • Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Discord messages: they stay in the server until you or a moderator delete them.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Newsletter: every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Discord: you can delete your own messages, or leave the server, at any time.
  • Access, correction and deletion: email us to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it. We'll answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm it's you first. We may have to keep some records, like payment records, when the law requires it.

Some states, such as California, give residents extra privacy rights. We give these rights to every member, wherever you live. We won't treat you differently for using them.

Information that Whop, Discord or MailerLite hold in your own accounts with them is covered by their privacy policies. You can manage it with them directly.

8. Security

We limit who can see member information and use the security tools that Whop, Discord and MailerLite provide. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

9. Under 18

The service is not for anyone under 18. If we learn we have information from someone under 18, we'll delete it and end their access.

10. Where your information is kept

We are based in the United States. Your information is stored and processed in the United States and wherever our service providers operate.

11. Changes to this policy

The newest version will always be on our Whop page, with the date it was last updated. If a change is significant, we'll announce it in the Discord server before it takes effect.
